MVHS Names Emergency Services Leaders

Tom Zinger, RN


Dianna Scranton, RN, BSN

UTICA – Tom Zinger, RN has been named nurse manager for Emergency Services at Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS). Prior to this position, he served as nurse manager for the Emergency Department (ED) at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare (FSLH), nurse manager for the FSLH Urgent Care and as a charge nurse in the FSLH ED on the night shift. Previous to working at FSLH, Zinger worked at SUNY Health Science Center in the Neuroscience Department and Crouse Hospital in the Emergency Department, both located in Syracuse.
Zinger received his registered nurse degree from St. Elizabeth College of Nursing and is currently working toward his bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Utica College.
Dianna Scranton, RN, BSN has been named assistant nurse manager of the St. Elizabeth Medical Center (SEMC) ED. Prior to this position, she held positions at SEMC as a nursing supervisor, ED assistant nurse manager, and as charge nurse on the ED and Oncology Unit. 
Scranton received her associate in Nursing from St. Elizabeth College of Nursing and a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
