St. Elizabeth Medical Center Expands Orthopedic Unit

UTICA – St. Elizabeth Medical Center officially opened six additional private patient rooms on its Orthopedic Unit on Wednesday, February 11.

“The growth of our orthopedic program brought about the need for added space,” said Nurse Manager Karen Coyle, RN, BSN. “We are especially happy to add the additional private patient rooms.”

There are now 16 private and two semi-private rooms, with private bathrooms for each. The unit has two centrally located nurses’ stations to facilitate easy access to all patients. 

Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare and St. Elizabeth Medical Center are affiliates under the Mohawk Valley Health System.
