SEMC Names ICU Nurse Manager

Garth Sanford, RN

UTICA – Garth Sanford, RN has been named nurse manager of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at St. Elizabeth Medical Center (SEMC). In this position, Sanford maintains nursing operations to include both clinical and administrative responsibilities for the ICU.

Sanford has been an employee at SEMC since 2000, serving as a staff RN in the Special Care Unit (SCU) and as a staff RN and charge RN in the ICU. He earned his RN from Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York and plans to pursue his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
