UTICA, N.Y. – Eric Yoss, MD, FCCP, a specialist in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine, has been named senior vice president of Quality at the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS). In this position, he is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the various quality programs at MVHS.
Dr. Yoss has served on the St. Elizabeth Medical Center (SEMC) medical staff since the early 1990s, including as its president and secretary/treasurer. He has been associated with Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates of New Hartford since 1988 and has served as medical director of Respiratory Care and of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at SEMC and as medical director of Critical Care services at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare (FSLH).
Dr. Yoss received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and completed an internship/residency and fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Yoss is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and a fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians.
