St. Elizabeth Medical Center has honored 264 employees and Sisters who worked a combined total of 3,495 years and announced the Employee of the Year and Denise Taurisano Award recipient. Joseph DeCola of Utica is the Employee ofthe Year. He has been employed at the Medical Center for six years. Mr. DeCola works in the Information Technology Department as a P.C.Analyst. Outside of the Medica Center, Mr. DeCola has been a longtime member of the Ride for Missing Children and serves on the WKTV Go the Distance Committee. He and his wife, Terry, have one son, Joseph. Sandy Srour of Sauquoit received the Denise Taurisano Award, named after a former employee known for her customer service and caring attitude. An employee for 31 years, Mrs. Srour is the Technical Coordinator for Imaging at St. Elizabeth Medical Arts. She is a graduate of the St. Elizabeth School of Radiography and was best friends with Denise. She and her husband, George, are parents of three adult children, Jennifer, Christopher and George.They have four grand children, Elly, Lea, Andrew and Cohen and a very special nephew, Louis M. Brindisi. |
